Long-Read, Whole-Genome Sequencing in Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders

This Translational award has allowed investigators to acquire the NVIDIA DGX H100, a cutting-edge computational tool that will significantly speed up our data processing for a major genome sequencing project. This project involves analyzing the DNA of over 600 patients with neurodegenerative diseases to uncover genetic factors, small variants, structural changes, and epigenetic modifications. The equipment is being installed this month, and we anticipate findings by the fall that could lead to groundbreaking insights into these disorders, driving advancements in understanding and treatment.
